Comes from God!
You know it has taken me a long time to figure that out! And sometimes I still do not get it. It is easy to let your circumstances dictate how you feel, but we should be happy knowing that we are alive, that we are loved by God and if we are serving him we have a heavenly reward. The Bible says rejoice that your name is written in the Lambs book of life. How can we not be happy about that.
Today I am choosing to be happy, even though I am tired and feel pretty bad. Who says we have to go by how we feel!
I had a good lunch today! I had a salad and some grilled pork chops! It was pretty good! I finished the book I started yesterday, it was good, can't wait to read the next in the series, I would prob be reading it now, but it is in the van at school with James! Oh well gives me time to blog and time to do the Bible Study for tonight.
We are studying revelation right now in Bible Study! It is getting pretty intense, but I am enjoying studying and learning more about Gods word!
Well guess I better get to lesson planning! Have a good day, and choose to be happy today!
I got a 40 on today's quiz. It is becoming apparent that I know absolutely nothing about Jesus. It's because I never went to Sunday school. :) You don't learn this stuff in church, you were expected to have already known it from Sunday School or by reading your Bible.
ReplyDeleteI am the worst at reading my Bible. If I am lost, I read it, or skim it for answers, and I know that's bad but that's just how I am. I hate to read something becasue I feel like I have to. And I would rather go to a Bible Study 7 days a week than pick up a Bible on my own and try to interpret it. I just love to hear someone else talk about it, like a story they tell, and then discuss it with other people, versus me reading it by myself like an assignment.

Brianna I love to read, but do you know it is hard for me to read my Bible too. But I will tell you that I have an amplified Bible that Iam comparing with the King James Version, that is really good, I will get to reading and cna not stop! It is so easy to understand. They are so many great stories in there too. I read about a lady that actually nailed this guys head to the floor! Ok that was pretty graphic for the Bible, but its in there! So think of reading the Bible as an adventure, not an assigment! I know its not that easy, but try it any way!
